Seattle’s own Nancy Pearl was named 2011 Librarian of the Year by Library Journal. Many of us in LLOPS have had the pleasure of hearing Nancy speak in person, or caught her appearances on KUOW or the Seattle Channel. It’s exciting to see one of our local library luminaries get this kind of national recognition. Dust off your Librarian Action Figure and display it at the reference desk with pride!
