Dear LLOPS Colleagues,

We’re proud to announce the 2021 LLOPS Professional Development Conference will take place virtually on Friday, June 11, from 2 – 4:30pm PT.

The conference features two speakers: Professor Margaret Chon, of Seattle University, and Ramon Barajas Jr., Library Manager at Alston and Bird, and Past President of the Southern California Association of Law Libraries (SCALL). Along with telling us about their individual work, both speakers will discuss their extensive work promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within organizations and institutions. This will set the stage for the new LLOPS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, which will begin work this summer. Details about the Committee (and how to join) will be provided at the Conference!
