Hiding Your Trail! Smart Online Sleuthing
Presented by Kim Ositis @ the Public Law Library of King County
Time: 12:00 – 1:00PM
Wear your camouflage pajamas to learn about protecting your privacy and ensuring attorney/client confidentiality while doing online sleuthing for individuals and businesses. More and more information is not found in a subscription product but in savvy searching of social networks and publicly accessible databases.
The Public Law Library of King County has been offering variations of the Skiptracing class for more than a decade. In this one-hour version of the class, Kim Ositis will highlight her favorite websites for accessing free background information on individuals and businesses, with specific emphasis on tips for using anonymous search engines.

But wait, there’s more!!
And what is better than having one LLOPS event? TWO! Join us after work on Wednesday, February 27th, for happy hour at the Yard House. As usual, LLOPS will pay for the appetizers so all you have to do is show up with some money to quench your thirst. Festivities will begin at 4:30PM and one of the members of the social committee may be wearing a Justin Bieber tshirt. But you won’t know who unless you show up!
