Harvard Boot Camp

What better place than Harvard to send your mid-level associates who are no longer wide-eyed but not yet crusty, for an 8-day “boot camp,” to learn business skills. Goodness knows, for those of us who have witnessed many a great attorney falter when it comes to business acumen, it would be a good thing to impart a little business wisdom into the youths.

And for those adorable itinerant interns who pop in on our firms from time to time, there’s a “Pre-Law Summer” program at Cornell. For $4,970, they can possibly save themselves $80,000 if they decide they will not be able to lead the glamorous life of Denny Crane aka Captain Kirk aka William, or as I like to call him, Bill, Shatner on Boston Legal. Now, that certainly seems like a wise business decision.
