LLOPS is throwing its annual Birthday Party and New Officer Installation Party on Wednesday, June 26th from 12-1pm at Keller Rohrback (1201 3rd Avenue, Suite 3200). Come join us for cake and refreshments. Committee chairs will be presenting their annual reports and we will welcome next year’s Board of Directors.

Warner Miller, Firm-wide Manager of Reference and Research Services at K & L Gates, will present “How to Use Social Media to Attract Clients and Build a Rich Professional Network (While Staying Out of Trouble).”
This program should appeal to anyone providing reference, business development or marketing research support.
At the September 28 meeting, we were pleased to have Brandi Ledferd reprise a portion of the program she co-presented at the 2011 AALL Annual Meeting: “Best Practices for Evaluating a New Electronic Resource.”

The 2009-2010 Program Committee was composed of six LLOPS members: Barbara Swatt Engstrom (Seattle University): CO-CHAIR; Amy Eaton (Perkins Coie): CO-CHAIR; Rita Dermody (KCLL); Kerry Fitz-Gerald (Seattle University); Tim Sheehy (US Courts), and; Mort Brinchmann (Stokes Lawrence): Liaison to the Board.
